With an impressive roster of clients including Newcastle Libraries, The City of Newcastle, University of Newcastle, and Greater Bank, Melanie and her team specialise in crafting high-quality productions that both inspire and entertain. From collaborating with influencers to partnering with esteemed brands, Newcastle Podcast Station is at the forefront of innovative podcasting.
But Melanie's passion for podcasting doesn't stop there. As the Festival Director of the Newcastle Podcast Festival, presented in collaboration with Newcastle Libraries, she's dedicated to fostering a vibrant podcasting community. The festival, which drew significant attendance in 2021, is committed to providing practical advice and insights to podcasters at every stage of their journey.
Melanie's journey to podcasting stardom began with her roots in AFTRS Commercial Radio, where she honed her skills at renowned stations like Nova 969, B105, and 2DAY. She's even shared her knowledge as a guest lecturer in podcasting at AFTRS.
However, her diverse background extends beyond the airwaves—she holds an LLB and made waves as a stand-up comedian, earning accolades for her performances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
